I have owned this since 1995 and only used it for decoration. The 4 hoses are hand wound w/wood pieces on each end. Each hose is 46" long. Top piece shows no sign of use. Main unit breaks down to 4 pieces. Reed that fits into globe is pristine. The enamel work is red and blue. Please let me know if you want any more photos. Check out my other interesting listings
